About the metal material used in the product
2Cr13 is a martensitic stainless steel with high hardness, good wear resistance and strength. Its meaning is: 2 represents 2% carbon, Cr represents chromium, and 13 represents 13% chromium. This steel is suitable for making knives that work in neutral or corrosive environments.
5Cr13MoV is martensitic stainless steel, 5 means carbon content 0.5%; Cr13 means chromium element content 13%; Mo means molybdenum element and content is less than 1%; V means vanadium element and content is less than 1%. It is suitable for making civilian knives with high strength and hardness.
9Cr18MoV has good rust resistance. It is a high-quality stainless steel used in the high-end batch knife market. Its strength and sharpness are very high. The chromium content is as high as 16-18%. It is also the first stainless steel accepted by knifesmiths, but this steel is very hard. , higher requirements on the production process.
65 manganese steel belongs to high-carbon manganese steel, manganese can improve hardenability, surface decarburization tendency is smaller than silicon steel, and the comprehensive mechanical properties after heat treatment are better than carbon steel. After quenching and tempering, it has high hardness and wear resistance, quenching ≥ 62HRC. After water quenching, the surface will have a tendency to form patterns, which is suitable for axes.
